The Cabin Project
The Cabin Project is a Portland, Or-based, orchestral rock band whose sound stems from haunting choruses, harmonies, delay pedals, synths and string sections. The band, originally a recording project of Katie Sawicki, a former-folksinger from Brooklyn gone electric, is now defined by its musical partner Zanny Geffel, on roots and jazz-inspired drums, and collaborator Jean Mastaler on pedal-driven electric violin. The trio fills the remaining sonic space with carefully woven vocals. “Like their name suggests, the band’s sound is reminiscent of the kind of intimate space created by artists like Bon Iver." - American Songwriter.

Deloria
Being a human is weird. Sometimes I ask questions of the questions I ask and accidentally slip into winding, floating, downward spirals of dysphoria, dysmorphia or good ole fashioined out-of-body experiences. I am fascinated that living nightmares appear pretty to others.
I put stuff like that on paper and those are the words of my songs.
Sometimes the music comes to me in dreams and nightmares. Sometimes it haunts me or forces itself into my consciousness, popping into my brain jelly like the uncontrollable flashbacks. Voila, art.
